This guide shows you all Resident Evil 3 Remake Security Vaults and Password Lockers passwords on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
There are only 3 safes and 2 closets that require passwords and combinations.
To open the safes, you must turn the dial in the correct direction to the required numbers and press the button X (on PS4) to open the safe. If you press the button before the last number, it will not open the safe. Likewise, if you turn the dial in the wrong direction, it will not work.

Vault 1 – “Red Dot Sight” Weapon Upgrade
Dowtown (Centro): Upstairs, when going up the stairs to the right of the donut shop (CODE AFTER PATCH 1.03 = 9 LEFT – 3 RIGHT – 7 LEFT / CODE BEFORE PATCH 1.03 = 9 LEFT – 1 RIGHT – 8 LEFT). Use this combo and confirm with: x: /:a:. You can also find this code at the pharmacy on a poster with numbers circled in red.
- Vault Password (After Patch 1.03) = 9 Left – 3 Right – 7 Left
- Vault Password (Before Patch 1.03) = 9 Left – 1 Right – 8 Left

Vault 2 - Inventory Upgrade
Police Station 1F (Delegacia) – West Office: Open the safe in the side room of the West Office. Check out the combination:
- 9 Left – 15 Right – 7 Left.
Vault 3 – Weapon Upgrade 8 – Dual Magazine (Assault Rifle)
Hospital 2F – Nurse's Station: There is a safe in the nurses' station. You will need to use the following combination:
- 9 Left – 3 Right.
Closet 1
Police Station 3F (Delegacia) – Third Floor Hallway: The same hallway where you find the key.
- locker code = DCM (contains Assault Rifle ammo)
Closet 2
Police Station 3F (Delegacia) – Shower Room: In the same room as File 30.
- Code for Locker = POSTAL CODE.
