Meet the Brawl Stars classes: skills and characteristics

Each Brawler from Brawl Stars has different abilities and characteristics. Depending on strengths and weaknesses, it is possible to group any Brawler into a group called a class. There are classes that are more effective in some game types and less effective in others.

Check out the classes that exist using our guide.

fighters

Brawlers Fighters: Bo, Jessie, Nita, Shelly

Fighter class Brawlers are balanced, with a medium health bar, do some damage and their attacks are for mid-range. They can fulfill various types of roles, depending on their abilities.

Shelly is the first Brawler any Brawl Stars player uses. Her attack is effective at long ranges, but lethal at short ranges. Her Super is perfect for breaking barriers and eliminating enemies that get too close, which makes this character very versatile.

Jessie and Bo are very effective controlling an area with their super, which is very advantageous in Pique Gemma modes, to dominate the gem pit, Fute Brawl or Assault, making it difficult to access a zone or the goal.

Nita is ideal for helping other Brawlers, thanks to her great resistance to attacks and her Super, perfect for stopping enemy progressions.

Heavyweight

Heavyweight Brawlers: Bull, Darryl, El Primo, Frank

It is common to have this type of characters in multiplayer games, usually called Tank. Are powerful characters, with lots of life and generally short-range attacks. In Brawl Stars it's not easy to be a tank, because that means being on the front line, right in the center of combat.

Heavyweight Class Brawlers are very effective in Fute-Brawl mode as ball carriers and in Gem Pique mode as gem carriers. As they have great resistance to attacks, they are less likely to drop the ball or gems.

In Assault mode, they are ideal for creating a diversion, keeping the enemy team busy while allies take better positions.

Launchers

Brawlers Launchers: Barley, Dynamics

Launchers are very effective Brawlers at causing a large amount of damage and control areas. They are perfect for defending, as their attacks allow you to go over obstacles. These characters need to be used at the correct distance or else they risk being taken out by Snipers or Assassins as their nearby attacks are relatively slow to recharge. The best modes to use this type of Brawlers are Combat and Assault.

snipers

Brawlers Snipers: Brock, Colt, Penny, Polly, Ricochet, Spike

Brawlers specialized in long attacks with little life. Brawl Stars Snipers cannot win a game on their own, but they are very effective at keeping the enemy team on their toes. They are especially useful for eliminating enemies that are escaping to regenerate.

The best ways to use Snipers are on more open maps like Starhunters, Gem Pique and Fute-Brawl. They are practically useless in Combat mode.

Curators

Brawlers Curators: Pam, Little

Curators keep the team running, healing or regenerating their health. They have one of the most important roles on the team; although their attacks do little damage, they support the team in many roles. The best ways to use healers are Gem Pike and Assault.

Murderers

Killer Brawlers/Excuses: Crow, Leon, Mortis

The Killer Brawlers, also called the Executioners, are very fast and especially effective on the front lines, taking out low health enemies. For these Brawlers, the ideal is to ambush enemies and then attack. They're useful in pretty much every mode, but they excel most in Gem Pique, Starhunters, and Combat.

Special Brawlers

These Brawlers don't fall into any of the classes, despite being quite effective.

Tara is good at controlling an area, surrounding enemy Brawlers. Her Super is especially useful for dealing damage to nearby enemies and making them more vulnerable to the rest of the team.

EugĂȘnio is best suited for Support, working together with the rest of the team. Your normal attack damages multiple enemies at once. His Super is a gigantic hand that pulls an enemy close to him.

Brawlers Rarity

In addition to classes, Brawlers can also be divided according to their rarity. There are several links of rarity. The first link, designated here as "Common", can be unlocked by trophies.

  • Ordinary: Shelly, Nita, Colt, Bull, Jessie, Dynamics, Bo
  • Raro: El Primo, Barley, Little
  • super rare: Ricochet, Darryl, Penny,
  • Epic: Piper, Pam, Frank
  • Mythical: Mortis, Tara, Eugene,
  • Legendary: Spike, Crow, Leon
