In FIFA 20 Career Mode you will find great players at the end of their contract. They can join your club entirely for free! You just have to be patient and know how to look carefully at the best names that will soon be available on the market.
To present your proposal to these players, you will have to wait until January 2020. You will negotiate directly with the athletes, 6 months before their contract expires. If all goes well, they'll be on your team on the day 1 July 2020.
At the end of the article, you will also find the players out of contract for the second season of Career Mode. That is: it is those whose contracts expire in 2022.

Although several players at the end of their contract are already at an advanced age, this does not mean that they are not good acquisitions. Sometimes even to compose a group, as is the case of defender Garay (83) and midfielder Banega (83). Chiellini himself (89) is a great name to hire for free.

Of course, until 2022 it is possible for clubs to renew contracts with these players. But there's nothing stopping you from keeping an eye out for these names in your first year of Career Mode. If they don't renew their contract, better for your team and your pocketbook!
