There are many ways to find out your PC's settings, as different shortcuts and directories end up leading to the same menus and presenting the same information. That's why we've gathered below the two fastest and most practical methods for you to find all your computer's specifications, and the best one: both work equally on Windows 7, 8 and 10!
Through Windows Explorer
Press the key with the logo of the Windows + E to open Windows Explorer. Then click once on the "This Computer" or "My Computer" menu. On the right you will find the total capacity of your HD and how much you are already using it:
Then, right-click on "This Computer" (or "My Computer") and select "Properties". This will take you directly to the Control Panel>System and Security>System menu, where you can see your processor and RAM:
Via the Start Menu
In the Start Menu search bar, type msinfo32 and hit Enter. This will automatically take you to the System Information menu:
This method provides much more detailed information in case you need it. Obviously, the data that has been blurred in the images above will normally be readable for you.
Note that this second method shows everything but the amount of free space on your hard drive. To do this, use the first method if necessary.
