How to know my video card in Windows 10, 8 and 7! (PC and notebook)

How to know my video card in Windows 10

In the start menu search bar, type the command dxDiag. If you haven't done this process recently, a confirmation window will appear. Just choose "Yes" to continue:



On the next screen, choose the "View" tab, it will show you all the information related to your video card or graphics chip:

If your PC has both graphics chip and video card, the menu above will show your graphics chip. In this case, the tab "render" will be available and in it you can find the information regarding the video card:

How to know my video card in Windows 7 and 8

The method below works the same in Windows 7 and 8. Right click anywhere on the Desktop, select "Screen Resolution", and in the next window, go to the "Advanced Settings" menu:
