"A Wrinkle in Time" is the Pokémon GO Special Research that gives players the opportunity to capture the mythical Pokémon Celebi. Among the game's main quests, "A Wobble in Time" is among the easiest to complete. Even so, some steps can be a lot of work if you don't prepare in advance. Check out all the mission tasks below and then some precious tips to complete it quickly!
An oscillation in time (1/8)
- Power up a pokemon 5 times (1000 XP)
- Battle 2 times in Gym (1000 XP)
- Battle in a raid (1000 XP)
Rewards: 10x Poké Ball, 1x MT Fast Attack and 1x Super Incubator
An oscillation in time (2/8)
- Make 3 new friends (1500 XP)
- Evolve a Grass-type Pokemon (1500 XP)
- Catch a pokemon 3 days in a row (1500 XP)
Rewards: 1500 Stardust, 1x Sunstone and 1x Premium Raid Pass
An oscillation in time (3/8)
- Reach Trainer level 25 (2000 XP)
- Use a Sunstone to evolve a Gloom or Sunkern (2000 XP)
- Hatch 9 eggs (2000 XP)
Rewards: 1x King's Stone, 1x Premium Raid Pass and Eevee encounter
An oscillation in time (4/8)
- Walk 10km with Eevee as your Companion (2500 XP)
- Evolve Eevee into Espeon during the day (2500 XP)
- Send 20 gifts to friends (2500 XP)
Rewards: 2500 Stardust, 1x Metal Coating and Eevee encounter
An oscillation in time (5/8)
- Walk 10km with Eevee as your Companion (3000 XP)
- Evolve Eevee into Umbreon overnight (3000 XP)
- Trade a pokemon (3000 XP)
Rewards: 1x Star Piece, 15x Caxi Fruit and 1x Enhancement
An oscillation in time (6/8)
- Spin PokéStop Photo Discs for 7 days in a row (3500 XP)
- Catch 25 pokemons with the help of Fruta Caxi (3500 XP)
- Use items to evolve pokemons 2 times (3500 XP)
Rewards: 3500 Stardust, 1x Dragon Scale and 5x Silver Caxi Fruit
An oscillation in time (7/8)
- Catch 40 Grass or Psychic type Pokemon (4000 XP)
- Receive a Johto Gold Medal (4000 XP)
- Land an Excellent Throw with a Curve Ball (4000 XP)
Rewards: 1x MT Charged Attack, 10x Silver Caxi Fruit and Celebi encounter
An oscillation in time (8/8)
- Capture Celebi (3x 4500 XP)
Rewards: 5500 Stardust, 1x Super Incubator and 20x Celebi Candy
Tips for completing the quest "A Wrinkle in Time"
- From the beginning of the quest, be on the lookout to capture Oddish, Gloom, and Sunkern. Keep these pokemons saved for you to have someone to evolve in step 3.
- Do not switch Companions after walking 10km to evolve Eevee into Espeon (4/8) and Umbreon (5/8). If you do, the count will be reset and you will need to walk again. Evolve the Eevees as soon as possible to complete the quest.
- Give Fruta Caxi to all Pokemon in Johto that have two evolutions. Evolving them will ensure that you fill your Pokédex faster and earn the Gold Medal faster.
