Clash Royale looks like a simple game from the outside. Two players throw units onto the battlefield and watch as they try to destroy the opponent's towers. But Clash Royale decks are surprisingly complicated. There may only be eight unit cards in each, but in many ways this really requires your deck's synergy to be more focused and precise. There is little room for error in good Clash Royale decks.

Also check out all the Clash Royale cards.

So what are these magic selections? Well, we decided to put together a list of top Clash Royale Decks . Whether we're talking Electro Giant, Royale Delivery, or Golem, we've picked our favorite variations based on each of the popular deck archetypes.

Some of these decks focus on spamming bridges, while others try to lure enemy units. But whatever strategy they use, each has its own strengths and should serve well in competitive games.

The Best Decks in Clash Royale 2022

Here are some of the best decks from the current meta you can try today!

Decks PEKKA

This deck is great for offensive play, relying on PEKKA for defense when needed. Of course, the mighty Battle Ram, accompanied by Bandit, will offer a lot of pressure, and with a combination of Electro Wizard and PEKKA, there's little chance of anything getting through your barriers.

  • Pekka
  • Bandit
  • Real ghost
  • Battle Ram
  • lackeys
  • Zap
  • potion
  • Electric Mage

2.6 Hog Cycle

With massive damage, the 2.6 Hog Cycle deck calls for an even more offensive playstyle – but be careful not to overextend it. As the cannon is not suitable for air defense, it's best to save your Musketeer for when the enemy launches a Balloon or Lava Hound. All cards are easy to obtain and level up, and with a good understanding of how to push, you will be racking up those wins.

  • pig rider
  • fireball
  • Zap
  • Golem of Gelo
  • Skeletons
  • ice spirit
  • musketeer
  • Cannon

X-Best of MusicMasters

With strong defense and good offense, this deck is quite flexible. Most of the time, you'll want to play defensively and take the time to figure out your opponent's deck. Make sure you press with an X-bow if they use something big like a Lava Hound, but avoid staying too long and losing defense.

  • Elixir Collector
  • X-Bow
  • Golem of Gelo
  • Skeletons
  • ice spirit
  • musketeer
  • fireball
  • Tesla

Golem Beatdown

The Golem is a popular unit in Clash Royale for having high health and being able to deal decent damage. Here's a good Golem deck that relies on pushing your opponent back and taking away their defense ability - just be careful, because when you lose this Golem, you're pretty wide open.

 FOR YOU
  • G
  • Barbarian Barrel
  • Tornado
  • Ray
  • baby dragon
  • Prince of Darkness
  • Mega Minion
  • Lumberjack

Other Strong Clash Royale Decks

Ram Rider

Another good Clash Royale deck, Ram Rider, focuses on a split-aggro unit where the rider targets enemies and the battering ram targets buildings. Our favorite version revolves around quick cycle cards so you can deploy more units, more often.

  • Cannon
  • fireball
  • Golem of Gelo
  • ice spirit
  • musketeer
  • Ram pilot
  • Skeletons
  • Zap

Mega Knight

Mega Knight is an ever-popular Clash Royale unit with very high area damage and health. As such, there are many decks that feature it as a centerpiece. Here's a great Mega Knight deck to help you get started:

  • Mini PEKKA
  • Mega Knight
  • Miner
  • lackeys
  • musketeer
  • Royal Delivery
  • wall breaker
  • Zap

Royal Delivery

This Clash Royale deck uses Royal Delivery, a damage and defense spell, to improve your units. Our chosen version uses Royal Delivery to damage air units and takes advantage of that air superiority with the Balloon and Lava Hound.

  • Balloon
  • fireball
  • Lava Hound
  • Mega Minion
  • Mini PEKKA
  • lackeys
  • Royal Delivery
  • Zap

Electro Giant

This Clash Royale deck is based on the Electro Giant, a powerful unit that stuns and damages enemies in a radius around it. Our favorite version focuses on keeping the giant healed, using the tornado to make groups of enemies vulnerable to area-of-effect damage, then punishing him with the giant.

  • Battle Healer
  • Prince of Darkness
  • Electro Giant
  • fireball
  • healing spirit
  • Skeleton Dragons
  • Tornado
  • Electric Dragon

Sparky

Sparky is an incredibly difficult card to obtain – so this deck might not be for you free-to-play players. However, if you have money to burn, this can be a lethal combination.

  • Prince of Darkness
  • Giant Goblin
  • Gaiola Goblin
  • Ray
  • Mega Minion
  • giant snowball
  • Bright
  • Electric Mage

Ball

This deck involves a balloon and then lots of fire cards. Lava Hound and Fireball deal massive damage, and then you have your Balloon in your back pocket to catch your opponent by surprise.

  • Balloon
  • barbarians
  • fireball
  • Lava Hound
  • Mega Minion
  • Skeleton Dragons
  • Tombstone
  • Zap

Giant

This deck has great synergy between the Graveyard and the Skeleton Army, but the most important card is, of course, the Giant. This gentle-looking guy is perfect for rushing an enemy and dealing a large amount of damage. Just be careful as this deck doesn't have any really powerful defensive buildings.

  • mushrooms; arrows
  • Bats
  • Giant
  • Cemetery
  • Mini PEKKA
  • musketeer
  • Skeleton Army
  • giant snowball

Royal Hogs

We just had to include a Royal Hogs deck – they are pigs with helmets! We had a lot of fun with this deck, and it's a great choice for free-to-play players. You'll rely on the eponymous pigs for most of your damage, but watch out for opposing flying attackers as you don't have any real anti-air defenses.

 FOR YOU
  • Barbarian Barrel
  • Barbarians' Hut
  • fireball
  • flying machine
  • healing spirit
  • royal pigs
  • Royal Recruits
  • Zappies

Mega Knight Graveyard

As always, Mega Knight decks are still going strong, and the Graveyard/Knight combo is still great. Both the Mega Knight's ability to pressure your opponent and the Graveyard skeleton spawn can be a lot to handle individually, let alone you playing both at the same time.

  • Barbarian Barrel
  • Electric Mage
  • Fisherman
  • Gaiola Goblin
  • Cemetery
  • Hunter
  • Mega Knight
  • potion

Mortar Bait

As you can imagine, this deck is all about the humble mortar, and using it to force your opponent to respond and potentially overcommit trying to counter and defend against them. You can then punish this overcommitment by using cards like Log, Fireball, and Skeleton Barrel.

  • fireball
  • Goblins gang
  • Rider
  • The register
  • Mortar
  • musketeer
  • Skeleton Barrel
  • Goblins Lanceiros

Skeleton Dragons

This top Clash Royale deck is all about Skeleton Dragons, a versatile unit with decent damage, low cost, and the ability to fly. Our preferred version maximizes the effectiveness of dragon model counts by spamming the bridge and trying to funnel your enemies into a damage choke point.

  • Bandit
  • fireball
  • Rocket
  • Golem of Gelo
  • Prince
  • Battle Ram
  • Skeleton Dragons
  • Zap

Royal Ghost

This deck revolves around the Royal Ghost, an area-of-effect damage unit that hovers and remains invisible until it starts fighting the enemy. This gives you a huge advantage on attack, especially if you have the fast-moving prince – which combines well with splash damage units due to its single-target attacks – and if you use your giant to cover him. The flying electric dragon also provides a quick source of damage.

 FOR YOU
  • Real ghost
  • Giant
  • Mega Minion
  • potion
  • Prince
  • Skeletons
  • Zap
  • Electric Dragon

This Clash Royale deck revolves around the Electro Spirit, a low health, low damage unit that sacrifices itself to stun enemies. Our favorite version of this deck continues to crush those stunned enemies with The Log.

  • goblin barrel
  • Electro Spirit
  • Goblins gang
  • Rider
  • The register
  • Princess
  • Rocket
  • Tesla
