Codes are a great way to make GTA 3 more fun. With them you change the dynamics of the game, make it easier with extra money or simpler things like changing the weather and traffic. Cheats breathe new life into the open world.
Remember: the game has to be on and cannot be paused, so have the command in hand before doing it because you need to run fast and use the digital directional, not the analog, for the arrows.

How to get infinite ammo
When you gather 9,999 total bullets for a weapon, you automatically gain infinite ammo. You'll still need to reload, but you'll never run out of ammo.
