Coach Bus Simulator
- Platforms: Android
- Free: Yes
- Where to download: Play Store
Coach Bus Simulator is one of the most realistic bus driving game available for mobile. You can choose to start in one of several European cities and drive across Europe carrying passengers. And in fact we have to say: the game is really complex and close to the real one in terms of mechanics.
You can drive in 4 different ways and you need to flash, turn on your headlights and be aware of traffic laws. Just crash the bus once to lose passengers and the money you would earn for the trip. So you have to be very careful, but knowing that in the first few trips you will probably fail the mission.
Bus Simulator Ultimate
- Platforms: Android
- Free: Yes
- Where to download: Play Store
Bus Simulator Ultimate is huge, because in it you have to drive your bus, but also command the social aspects and manage a large company. You can drive more than 13 different buses, which have realistic interiors and 250+ radios.
The transit system is very real, bringing tolls and fines. Get reviews from your passengers and face variations in the weather, which make the experience even more complete. The only bad thing about the game is that all the countries in Europe are visually the same, which can get a little discouraged after playing for a while.
Heavy Bus Simulator
- Platforms: Android
- Free: Yes
- Where to download: Play Store
Heavy Truck Simulator has something that most other bus games don't: our country's roads and cities. It takes a long time to unlock most of them, but it's worth it when you do, as it's a lot of fun to drive around SĂŁo Paulo, for example.
The graphics aren't that great, though. It lacks some realism in the cities, which are very small and without heavy traffic. But in general it is a good game for those who want a game totally in our language and closer to the reality of our country.
World Bus Driving Simulator
- Platforms: Android
- Free: Yes
- Where to download: Play Store
World Bus Driving Simulator was made by our countrymen for our countrymen and it manages to be better than Heavy Bus in the points where it fails. The graphics are great, and the quality and differential of the game is in the small details, such as being able to put your photo on the driver's badge or being able to change the driver's position in the seat.
The traffic is more intense, however it brings mandatory stops at police stations along the road quite often, which can be annoying. But it is worth it for characteristics such as climate change system and well-marked day/night cycle. You can even refuel!
Proton Bus Simulator Road
- Platforms: Android
- Free: Yes
- Where to download: Play Store
Proton Bus Simulator Road is focused on offering players bus customization. You can even use mods to customize the buses you drive and everyone that passes you on the roads. But the driving experience is also there and a fundamental part of the game, although it's built pretty much entirely from the mods you install.
OMSI 2: Steam Edition
- Platforms: PC
- Free: No
- Where to buy: Steam
This game is a recreation of an old game, focusing on a German bus from the city of Spandau. Looking at the picture, you can see that the vehicle is really "vintage", but the coolest thing is having a joint in the middle!
The Steam edition brings amazing graphics and features that the original game lacked. Also, if you want to pay a little more, you can have access to some DLCs that allow you to take the trip to other countries in Europe.
Bus Simulator 18
- Platforms: PC, PS4, Xbox One
- Free: No
- Where to buy: Steam, Epic Games, PS Store, Xbox Store
Bus Simulator 18 is the last title in the franchise released, but we already have version 21 promised to arrive in 2022. Anyway, this is the best game on the list in terms of graphics. Despite taking place on a fictional map, with 12 districts, it brings a lot of realism in the bus brands, the main ones being Mercedez and Setra.
A company's management system is very complete and allows you to buy new vehicles and build a fleet. You can upgrade them all as you unlock new districts on a no-load map that is procedurally generated as you play.
Tourist bus simulator
- Platforms: PC
- Free: No
- Where to buy: Steam
Tourist Bus Simulator is a more specific simulator, as you will be a driver on vacation for tourists on a paradise island called Fuerteventura. Make tourist routes, hotel transfers to the airport and tours.
Managing your bus fleet is very important, taking care of maintenance so they don't spoil. It must also hire employees and pay their salaries. It is one of the most fun simulators on the list, as it has excellent graphics, realistic ambiance and colorful landscapes.
Fern Bus Simulator
- Platforms: PC
- Free: No
- Where to buy: Steam
Fernbus Simulator is actually a game where you take command of a fleet of buses from the European company FlixBus. In other words: the travel routes will take you through real European cities, from Spanish beaches to the Swiss Alps. All with graphics polished to perfection.
The only catch is that you can only drive all over Germany, Switzerland, Lichenstein and Austria. The game's developers, however, have already promised to bring more countries and roads in future updates.
